Access Statement for Rudding Gates East

 

We aim to accommodate the needs of all our guests at Rudding Gates Apartments.

 

This is a summary of the facilities at Rudding Gates East which is a single storey building. The decor throughout is neutral and all rooms are well lit through natural light and good electric lighting. The property is fully centrally heated.

PRE-ARRIVAL

The Gatehouse Apartments are located in the village of Follifoot, situated between Harrogate and Wetherby and within easy reach of the A1 motorway. ARRIVAL AND CAR PARKING FACILITIES

Access to the Gatehouse Apartments is through a gated driveway. The gates automatically open as you approach. We have a wide driveway to our property and can accommodate most sized vehicles. Parking for the apartments is to the rear of the property in which you are staying.

 

MAIN ENTRANCE

From the tarmac driveway, there is a concrete pathway to the property. If required, there is a mobile ramp which can be located at the property for the duration of your stay. The main entrance is directly accessed from the driveway. There is a 17cm step through a doorway 71cm wide. This brings you directly into the large hallway, off which are located all other rooms. There is a storage cupboard in the hallway.

 

LOUNGE/DINING ROOM

Located to the right of the hallway and accessed via a doorway 70cm wide. The flooring is wooden. There is a 2-seat sofa, 41cm high and 2 armchairs, 42cm high. There is a large, wall-mounted, flat-screen colour TV, occasional tables, dining table, 73cm high with a 69cm space beneath and 4 chairs, 46cm high. From the dining area is an exterior door, 86cm wide and down a step 19cm high.

 

KITCHEN

The kitchen is off the hallway and accessed via a doorway, 70cm wide. The flooring is wooden. The units are 90cm high and there is a built-in fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker and hob. There is a breakfast bar, 90cm high and 2 stools, 62cm high.

 

SUPERKING BEDROOM

A super king-size bedroom accessed via a doorway, 70cm wide, opening into the bedroom. There is a superking bed, 57cm high with bedside units and lamps and there are also built-in storage units, dressing table, mirror and chair, 43cm high. There is a remote controlled colour TV. The flooring is short-pile carpet. Access to the en-suite shower/wet room is via a doorway, 70cm wide opening into the bedroom. The shower is accessed up a 4cm step and through an opening, 70cm wide. The basin is 87cm high and the WC is 40cm high. The flooring is tiled.

 

 

TWIN/SUPERKING BEDROOM

A twin or super-king size bedroom accessed via a doorway, 70cm wide, opening into the bedroom. The bed/s is 56cm high with bedside units and lamps and there are also built-in storage units, dressing table, mirror and chair, 46cm high. There is a remote controlled colour TV. The flooring is short-pile carpet. Access to the en-suite bathroom is via a doorway, 70cm wide opening into the bedroom. There is a combined bath and shower and the height of the bath is 55cm. A bath stool is available if required. The basin is 87cm high and the WC is 41cm high. The flooring is tiled.

 

GROUNDS AND GARDEN

There is a private, walled garden with a paved patio area, accessed from the dining room.
