Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that is moving millions of people toward joy and health. When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. You will learn salsa steps, reggaeton rhythms and dance to the latest pop tracks and many more in this high energy 45 minute class.
Fitness Pilates is a training option that focuses applies fundamental Pilates technique and exercises to offset musculoskeletal imbalances and identifies basic postural imbalances through Pilates based exercises.
Pilates Sally Trask will be running a new Pilates class on Mondays from Monday 17th February at 7.30pm in addition to her 9.30am Wednesday morning class. Booking is essential to secure a place on both days. To book please contact Sally on 07931 567566 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Sally’s approach focuses on moving with ease and relaxation whilst developing core strength, healthy breathing patterns and spinal flexibility, mobility and alignment. Tuning into your body, deepening self-awareness and developing the mind/body connection can transform the way you look, feel and move.
The classes are small with a maximum of 10 people and are mixed ability with beginners welcome. The cost is £42.00 for a block of six classes (£7.00 per class) held over a six week term. Drop in £10.00 per class. Please also book for a drop in session by telephone or email and please wait for confirmation that there will be space in the class that evening or morning.
If a block of six classes has been booked for a Monday evening or Wednesday morning and you are unable to attend a class there will be the option to come to the other class instead within that week if there is space in the class. Please wait for confirmation of this before attending the class.
Boxfit is one of the most effective forms of cross training and a great stress buster! BoxFit works to improve your cardiovascular system, strength, endurance, power, and of course, your boxing skills. This diverse work out also enhances sports specific senses such as balance, hand-eye co-ordination and timing. Every muscle gets a work out, both aerobically and anaerobically, recruiting both fast & slow twitch muscles fibres which makes it beneficial to all body types.
