We have been very lucky to live in such a beautiful village as Follifoot during lockdown, with space to walk outside and nature to enjoy, and thought that it would be lovely to celebrate this with a Follifoot Summer Art Exhibition based around the theme 'We Love Follifoot'.

A lot of you are fabulous artists and we hope that you, Follifoot children and grown ups too, will feel inspired to get out your paints, pencils and paper and have a go at capturing what you love most about living in the village, whether its a beautiful view, a historic building ,the wildlife and nature or even one of the Village Stores pork pies! Your artwork will then be posted around the village to form an exciting outdoor gallery for all villagers and visitors alike to enjoy.

All selected artwork will be produced as framed outdoor posters to be installed in and around the village. The frame features the message 'Please don't litter' to encourage everyone to love and look after the village environment. This theme could also be incorporated into your artwork if you choose.

We are hoping to celebrate the opening of the 'Art Gallery' later in August with an event and village litter pick, and, if allowed, the date and details of this will be published as soon as possible.

Anne & Andy have kindly agreed to accept entries at Follifoot Village Stores, so please submit all entries to them by the 3rd August.  We are really looking forward to seeing them.

With many thanks to Anne & Andy for this and to the Parish Council for their support. Sorry, but the exhibition is open to Follifoot residents only.
